SGA was hired by the City of Petaluma, CA, to lead a feasibility study of conceptual designs for improving pedestrian access and safety across Highway 101. SGA’s work focuses on potential physical improvements at five highway crossing locations and evaluates numerous alignment alternatives and new overcrossing and undercrossing concepts. Given the large scope of the study and various rights of way associated with the study locations, SGA coordinated with Caltrans, the Sonoma County Water Agency, and the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District as part of the project.
