SGA developed a comprehensive planning and feasibility study for the Town for Windsor, CA, that assessed improvements to bicycle, pedestrian, and vehicular connectivity and circulation around Windsor’s central freeway interchange. SGA designed potential east-west connections over and under Highway 101, led public engagement and focus meetings, and prepared five separate architectural and engineering feasibility studies. The studies focused on improvements to the existing highway underpass; a new bike/ped undercrossing; a new bike/ped overcrossing; roadway modifications to Old Redwood Highway for bike/ped safety; and an open space and bike/ped circulation plan for the Town’s central gas station area.
